But the vessel chosen to put those charges has to float. Nice job of highlighting the leaks! A simple criminal conspiracy count or perhaps 3 separate conspiracy charges (all coupled with substantive offenses) based on particular events would have been more prudent as you highlight. Standing back and looking at all of these individuals and the myriad actions taken, there is a basic and cogent explanation for what happened. Each defendant and each action taken focused on a common purpose. Keeping Trump in power. As simple as that. The criticisms about subplots and tangential actors could all be raised when the prosecution is against other organized crime, such as the mafia. But they're all in on it, and all committed to the common purpose. It is organized crime.
